Ah yes, tendinitis. If you're an athlete, and if you're reading this, you probably are, all of us at some point were probably told our soreness is/was being caused by tendinitis. And the remedy? Rest, ice and an anti-inflammatory. Has any one really gotten to the root of the problem? Tendinitis- or inflammation of the tendon- is the body's warning sign, a red flag if you will, of you are either doing too much or doing something incorrectly. Pain (not to be confused with soreness) is a response that we are doing something to our body and addressing the causing factors is more important than treating the symptoms.
